Thao Ellis

Homemaker and gardener, Thao Ellis loved nature and all its spenders. She loved life and wanted more time with her family. Thao passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 72 after a long-fought battle with cancer and other complications. She passed away knowing her kids love her and with her oldest daughter at her side.

Thao came to America at a young age with limited understanding of its language, let alone its culture. This was not including being newly married with two young kids to support and raise. Thao persevered through this thing we call life and made a place for her family to grow and prosper. 

Thao was an amazing chief of Asian or as she would correct me “Vietnams” cuisine. She loved to try new recipes and was never afraid to add her own twist to it. Thao loved gardening and growing her produce using the knowledge and experience carried down from her family. Thao’s ambition never wavered when it came to being self-reliant as she expanded into raising small farm animals. I am sure Thao is up there right now arguing with our lord that she can make a better garden.

Funeral Services will be held on October 30, 2022 scheduled for 10:00 AM at Killeen Memorial Park and Cemetery 3516 Lake Rd. Killeen, TX.
